Full-Time Overview
The analyst will work alongside the program management office and customer support teams to provide data‑related project support, data investigation, research, data management, data reporting, and SharePoint development. The analyst will be instrumental in analyzing data discrepancies and making recommendations to AMC leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform (SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate) and be capable of rapidly developing and refining solutions in an agile environment. The individual will be responsible for translating user needs into functional, scalable, and secure applications within the Microsoft ecosystem. Responsibilities
Prepare reports and documentation for customer review Respond to RFIs using strong verbal and written communication Work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment Extract knowledge and actionable information from massive datasets Break down problems and provide solutions using critical thinking skills Strive for a deeper understanding of AMC’s operational and performance drivers Participate in AMC working groups, peer groups, and other functional support groups to provide recommendations on control systems cybersecurity best practices and risk management Develop, test, deploy, and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom web parts, workflows, and applications Design and implement Power Automate flows to automate business processes and integrate with other systems Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize data and provide actionable insights Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver solutions that meet business needs Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate applications Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from large, disparate datasets for analysis and reporting Perform analysis of source documentation and real property databases to identify critical facilities at DoD installations Develop and manage databases for critical facility documentation Track and report asset changes and source documentation updates to ensure critical facility documentation remains up to date Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge or previous experience in applying analytic methodologies and principles Experience with data analytics tools such as Access, Excel, Vantage, and Power BI Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis within large datasets and build proactive data validation tools to catch data integrity issues Apply data modeling and data visualization principles Utilize MS Office and relevant databases and software tools Hold certifications: PL‑400, PL‑600, AZ‑204, PL‑300, or related Azure and Power Platform certifications Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps) Familiarity with data modeling and database concepts Experience with data governance and data quality principles Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and security compliance requirements Experience working with data warehousing solutions Experience with data visualization best practices Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, statistics, operations research, business, or related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 4–8 years of related experience, including SharePoint development U.S. citizenship required; must have an active DoD SECRET security clearance Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (including Excel and PowerPoint) Competence in data construction, integration, querying, and visualization development Proficiency in SharePoint Online development, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Strong understanding of Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) Experience with Microsoft 365 services and integration with SharePoint Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs) Demonstrated experience working within an Agile development framework (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) Strong ability to troubleshoot, resolve data issues, and build tabular and/or visualization reports Culture Requirements
