The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, design, and execution of capital improvement projects across the park, managing multiple projects from concept development through construction completion while ensuring timely, on‑budget delivery that aligns with operational needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage multiple concurrent capital improvement and infrastructure projects from planning through project closeout. Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans. Coordinate and oversee architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout all phases. Lead project meetings and communicate status, risks, budget updates, and timelines to stakeholders and leadership. Review drawings, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and contractor proposals. Participate in contractor selection, bid reviews, contract administration, and change‑order management. Conduct regular site walks to monitor progress, quality, safety compliance, and contractor performance. Collaborate with park operations, maintenance, safety, environmental, legal, sourcing, and finance teams to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate project activities inside an active operating environment while minimizing impacts to guests and operations. Ensure compliance with company standards, applicable codes, permitting requirements, and safety regulations. Track and manage project budgets and schedules throughout the lifecycle. Support capital planning and forecasting activities as assigned. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum three years of project or construction management experience. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a commercial, hospitality, entertainment, industrial, municipal, or similar environment. Working knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and project delivery methods. Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and cross‑functional stakeholders. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in theme parks, hospitality, attractions, entertainment venues, resorts, or other guest‑facing environments. Experience managing projects in occupied or operational facilities. Experience reviewing contracts, scopes of work, bids, and change orders. Familiarity with project scheduling and construction management software. PMP, CCM, PE, RA, or other related professional certification. Physical Requirements
Frequent walking throughout the park and construction sites. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to climb stairs, navigate construction areas, and occasionally work at heights. Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 35 pounds occasionally. Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and perform site inspections as needed. What You'll Bring
