About

Specialty Metals Corp is seeking an experienced inside sales representative to process requests for quotations and orders from customers. This role will develop quotes, initiate orders, and present inventory availability and lead-time information while providing a service solution to customers by utilizing all divisions of Specialty Metals. Salary range: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour Why should you apply? Review customer drawings, specifications, and tolerances to ensure accurate quoting and order entry. Maintain a high level of accuracy when creating and converting quotes, sales orders, and related customer records. Develop customer relationships by promoting Specialty Metals’ products, services, and processing capabilities while identifying solutions that support customer success. Proactively follow up on quotes and orders to gather customer feedback, address concerns, and identify additional sales opportunities. Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure customer accounts are in good standing prior to processing large or expedited orders. Manage order revisions and change requests, ensuring all updates are accurately documented and communicated to the customer and internal teams. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work in a team environment and treat our customers with courtesy and tact Strong telephone etiquette and computer proficiency are required Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations, understand written and oral instruction Our Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity Company.
