Position Overview As a Senior Decision Scientist, you will partner with cross-functional teams including Global Product Leads, Product Management, and Go-to-Market (GTM) stakeholders to synthesize advertiser data, conduct analysis, and deliver insights and recommendations for product and business leadership. You will independently own and maintain Global Ads Sales Analytics (GASA) impact measurement model data pipelines, manage quarterly GTM design upgrades, and build automation frameworks using modern AI-driven tools.
Core Responsibilities
Execute GASA impact measurement model data pipelines in accordance with established production specifications to support business reporting.
Apply quarterly Go-to-Market (GTM) design changes to impact models and upgrade pipeline systems per agreed-upon technical standards.
Provide automated execution of impact cuts and report generation to facilitate explainability and business decision-making.
Build and maintain automation for data pipelines using AI-driven frameworks as dictated by the project scope.
Develop and maintain SAS impact data marts for consumption by assigned Google stakeholders.
Independently execute and maintain data pipelines per outlined service level agreements (SLAs).
Provide data engineering outputs and pipeline troubleshooting support to internal product and data science stakeholders.
Technical Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with quantitative or technical emphasis: Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Expert proficiency in SQL, including querying and data warehousing for large datasets.
Intermediate to advanced Python scripting for automation, data pipelines, and data manipulation.
Basic familiarity with R for interpreting and troubleshooting statistical scripts.
Practical experience building and maintaining AI-driven automation frameworks for data pipelines.
Intermediate data visualization skills; experience with Looker, PLX, or similar dashboarding tools preferred.

Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to provide clear written updates and handle queries from diverse stakeholder teams.
Comfortable working independently at high velocity in ambiguous environments.
Background in technology companies with complex advertiser, sales, or mid-market/SMB ecosystems (e.g., AdTech, FinTech, Enterprise Tech) strongly preferred.
Pay The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $120,000 - $165,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.
Benefits As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take the time needed for either sick time or vacation.
