Central States Group, A Cogent Company is currently seeking an
Inside Sales Coordinator
to join our team in
Omaha, NE . The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree (minimum) along with previous experience in a customer service/order coordination/scheduling position. Typical duties of an Inside Sales Coordinator may include:
Reviews orders for accuracy and completion. Clarifies invalid and unclear order requirements with sales staff
Enters all sales orders into our ERP system
Places orders with vendors to purchase customer orders
Computes prices, shipping costs and any appropriate discounts
Handles inbound calls from customers, vendors and sales personnel
Provides sales quotes for parts to customers from vendor provided resources
Determines appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings
Verifies and updates customer information
Checks customer accounts for credit and outstanding payments
Informs customer and/or sales team of shipping date and any possible delays
Accurately prepares invoices in our billing system
Electronically files copies of all orders received
Adheres to productivity standards to ensure all orders handled in a timely and efficient manner
Customer Service is KEY; you will have contact with customers on a daily basis
Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Must be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Gmail
Must be a high-paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers
Must be able to multitask, such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills
Must have a general knowledge of basic mathematical computations
Must have the ability to sit for extended periods while typing and reading on the computer
Experience using ERP software programs
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
