Assembly/Disassembly Director

Olive is seeking an Assembly/Disassembly Director for our client in Manassas, VA. The Assembly/Disassembly is responsible for the achievement of safe and successful crane erection and dismantle operations. The ideal candidate has experience assembling and disassembling Lattice Crawler, Tele-Crawler, and luffing cranes. Responsibilities include:

• Manage projects from initial requirements through final deployment, working closely with Operations, Dispatch, and Project Management teams
• Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, safety, dispatch, and sales to support successful project delivery
• Facilitate meetings with project team members to identify challenges and implement effective solutions
• Develop detailed project schedules and coordinate crane allocation and deployment
• Work with the operations team to ensure projects run safely and efficiently, addressing issues promptly to minimize disruptions
• Communicate project results, risks, and updates to management, escalating issues when necessary in alignment with the project plan
• Ensure field operations comply with company standards related to quality management, health and safety, risk management, and overall operational requirements
• Provide leadership and direction to field personnel while establishing clear priorities for daily operations

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the assembly and disassembly of cranes
• Effective oral and written communicator
• Motivated leader, solutions oriented
• Ability to travel
• Experience in crane operations and a proven ability to manage personnel in the field
• Knowledge of Mobile Crane, Hauling Operations, and Rigging Practices
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, ANSI, and NCCCO policies
