About
Position Summary
The Continuous Improvement Lead drives process improvements across production to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance. This role leads cross-functional initiatives, supports Lean culture development, and partners with teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across production
- Ensure process changes support a safe work environment
- Identify and resolve production inefficiencies and performance gaps
- Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in throughput, quality, and yield
- Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and process documentation
- Partner with production, maintenance, and leadership teams on improvement projects
- Lead training efforts related to process changes and best practices
- Support food safety programs and participate in HACCP activities
- Track and report improvement results and project progress
Qualifications
- Experience in Lean manufacturing or process improvement required
- Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience in corrugated, printing, converting, or paper mill operations preferred
