About
Earn $140K to $180K in a service-led sales role with a long-tenured, family-owned crane and material handling company.
Our client is a privately held, family-owned overhead crane, hoist, and material handling company. Not PE-owned. Decades in business. One of the strongest inventory and pricing positions in the industry. They are hiring a Territory Sales Representative to own a multi-state territory out of the Birmingham metro.
This is a service-led sales role. You will quote OSHA-mandated inspections, repairs, maintenance agreements, and crane and hoist equipment. The work is consultative, the customers are industrial, and the company wins on value, not price.
The Role
Multi-state territory, home‑based out of Birmingham
Tuesday through Thursday in the field, Monday and Friday for quoting, follow‑up, and CRM
Modern CRM with strong territory and pipeline tools
Quote inspections, repairs, maintenance agreements, hoist and crane equipment, and modifications
Run a consultative, solutions‑based sales process
What We’re Looking For
2 years of sales experience in overhead cranes, material handling, forklifts, or heavy industrial equipment
Comfort with CRM software (NetSuite or Oracle a plus)
Strong time management and self‑direction
Valid driver’s license and willingness to pass a drug screen
OSHA‑10 preferred (training available)
Compensation
Base salary $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience
Monthly commission, OTE $130K to $140K Year 1
Top performers across the company $180K
$800 monthly car allowance plus fuel card
Full benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k)
Hands‑on onboarding directly with the regional sales leader
