About

Redefining how people live. At Blueground, we believe that when your base is reliable, the world opens up. That's why we're building the world's leading platform for living.
Every year, 350 million people move between cities, yet today's housing options haven't caught up with the needs of this modern, mobile generation. Blueground was built to change that.
With 40,000+ homes across the globe, available for stays from a few days to a year or more, we're just getting started. We're on an exponential growth path to redefine living and create an entirely new category. Our edge? Powerful proprietary tech, operational excellence, and a team that executes with speed and discipline.
Our culture is grounded in five principles:
Guests First – Every decision starts with their experience.
Move Fast – We value speed, momentum, and action.
Dive In – The magic is always in the details, and we go deep.
Embrace Change – Change isn't a disruption; it's how we grow.
Keep It Honest – Transparency accelerates progress and strengthens relationships.
If you're ready to do the best work of your life and help reshape how the world lives, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role We are seeking an SEO Senior Associate to grow Blueground's organic visibility across both traditional search and the new generation of AI-powered answer engines. We are looking for a high-impact, technically fluent SEO professional who can turn search data into prioritized action plans and execute them across a large, multi-market website. This is a hands‑on role for someone who lives at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy, and the emerging discipline of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and who is excited to help define how a global brand shows up as search itself is being rewritten by AI.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth keyword/intent research, competitor analysis, build content briefs, and optimize on‑page elements (metadata, headings, schema) to align pages with the right audience and stage of intent
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues
Execute link-building and off‑page optimization strategies.
Monitor Google algorithm and core updates, AI search rollouts, and SERP feature changes, diagnosing impact and adapting strategy quickly
Build and maintain SEO reporting that connects Google Search Console, Ahrefs, GA4, and AI‑visibility data into clear, action‑oriented insights for stakeholders
Participate in cross‑functional projects, performance monitoring, and the continuous improvement of internal SEO and reporting processes
Requirements
3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience spanning technical, content/on‑page, and off‑page SEO, ideally within travel, hospitality, real estate, marketplace, or tech
Solid technical SEO foundation: basic HTML/CSS knowledge, site architecture, indexation, internal linking, structured data, page experience, and how rendering affects crawling
Working understanding of AI search and GEO, how AI Overviews and LLM‑based assistants surface and cite content
Proficiency with core SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs (or Semrush), and GA4
Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional languages are a plus
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret search data and translate it into prioritized, measurable action plans
Nice to have
BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; relevant SEO/analytics certifications are a plus
Experience tracking and optimizing for AI‑visibility platforms (e.g., Peec.ai, Profound, or similar)
Familiarity with structured data implementation across templated pages
Tech‑savvy, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new platforms and tools
Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities
Benefits
Competitive salary & annual performance bonus
Flexible paid time off
Group Health Insurance program
Enhanced parental leave
Dynamic working environment with talented people
Flexible work environment through our Blueground Nomads employee mobility program
Complimentary accommodation in Blueground locations. Think summer in Greece and winter in LA!
