Position Responsibilities
Generate sales through door‑to‑door canvassing using proven sales techniques.
Complete paperwork and present payment options.
Operate within a 11 am‑8 pm schedule primarily for maximum prospect contact.
Provide performance updates to supervisors or managers.
Travel within Mediacom territory, including possible state‑to‑state trips up to two weeks with company coverage of transportation, lodging, and food.
Represent Mediacom at community events, presentations, training sessions, team calls, and community planning.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
One year of direct or field sales experience preferred.
Sales‑driven, success‑oriented, team‑player with positive people orientation.
Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, proof of auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with internet‑related devices (tablets, smartphones, routers, modems, etc.).
Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company office locations.
Completion of required city application for solicitor’s permits where applicable.
Compensation First‑year total target compensation is $60,000, comprised of a base salary and commissions. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package, with potential to grow as you develop.
