We are seeking a detail-oriented Innovation Data Analyst to support data reporting, preparation, and maintenance activities for innovation-focused business processes. This role is ideal for a data professional who excels at working with structured processes, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting operational analytics through reporting and data management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing established reporting workflows, maintaining data quality, supporting reporting tools, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of business-critical information. This position is focused on operational execution and analytics support rather than developing new methodologies, systems, or business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Execute recurring reporting processes, including data extraction, validation, analysis, and report generation.
Prepare, cleanse, and align data using established tools, templates, and processes.
Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across datasets.
Maintain and update datasets used for operational and business reporting.
Support reporting platforms and dashboards, including Power BI.
Refresh reporting outputs and verify expected results.
Identify, document, and elevate data discrepancies, anomalies, and quality concerns.
Support predefined reporting enhancement initiatives and backlog activities.
Maintain documentation and provide visibility into task status and project progress.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting and operational analytics needs.
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, operational analytics, or a related field.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and reporting.
Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP or other ERP platforms.
Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools, preferably Power BI.
Basic knowledge of SQL or similar query languages.
Experience executing structured, repeatable reporting and data management processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting operational reporting environments.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional business teams.
