Assistant Low Voltage Fire Technician
to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the low voltage and fire alarm industry.
This role works under the supervision of a Lead Fire Technician and will gain hands-on experience in commercial, multi-family, and critical infrastructure environments.
Salary Range: $45,000-$55,000
Key Responsibilities
Assist with installation of fire alarm systems (devices, panels, wiring, conduit) Support troubleshooting and basic diagnostics of fire alarm systems Assist with inspections, testing, and maintenance in compliance with NFPA standards Pull and terminate low voltage cabling Read and interpret basic blueprints and riser diagrams Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Requirements
0-2 years of experience in low Read blueprints Reliable vehicle
