About
Responsibilities
Apply principles of mechanics of materials, heat transfer, and material sciences.
Drafting and implementing destructive test procedures (pipe supports) which follow MSS SP-58 guidelines.
Design and fabrication of shop testing rigs and/or fixtures.
Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods, testing properties.
Estimating on conceptual design jobs including material takeoff and value engineering.
Document Control: Updating the design records for ISO9001 Quality plan.
Interaction with customers in regard to the technical aspects of their project.
Schedule Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certificate holder.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software – Solidworks, Ansys.
Experience with design and analysis of piping systems and supports.
Software requirements: Windows OS, Microsoft Excel & Word, AutoCAD 2D, Solidworks 3D.
