What you’ll be doing
Not just handed JIRA tickets; you will be partnering with stakeholders, defining the problem space, pitching technical solutions and owning them through to production
Identify data bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
Pitch and deliver architectural improvements
Influence the roadmap towards technical excellence in data engineering.
What we’re looking for
Strong software engineering fundamentals applied to data
Expertise working with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink
Autonomous and effective in a team setting
Experience working with non-technical stakeholders and translating their needs to technical requirements for team-wide delivery

*Note: This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
Gross pay salary: £75,400 – £113,000 GBP
