DevOps & Build Engineering Team Lead – Working Platform Manager
Location: Milwaukee, WI Area | Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Up to $165,000 annual base salary plus full corporate benefits.
What You Will Be Doing
Act as a working team lead by diving into the codebase, managing complex automated build architectures, and troubleshooting low-level systems.
Mentor and manage the DevOps team: direct daily standups, provide technical coaching, and set career paths.
Design and refine automation strategies: next-generation CI/CD pipelines and bespoke Infrastructure as Code scripts.
Analyze build performance metrics and testing logs to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize compiler efficiency.
Serve as liaison between embedded software divisions, quality assurance, and executive leadership to maintain a reliable production stack.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, or SRE with a solid technical foundation.
Proficiency in complex embedded build ecosystems and strong scripting capabilities.
Deep understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and container deployment mechanics.
Strong desire to lead from the front, focusing on peer code reviews, technical mentorship, and proactive project delegation.
Stable, progressive work history demonstrating long‑term commitment and organizational growth.
Residing within a 45‑minute driving radius of the Milwaukee, WI area.
