WHAT you’ll do We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our team in Durham, NC. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 days remote! The Network Administrator will work as part of a team that design, implement, and monitor reliable, durable, and cost‑effective solutions for all IT related needs. This position requires excellent technical, customer service, and organizational skills to support the IT needs of branch, support team, and other personnel throughout our footprint. It also requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operation of computer networks including hardware/software support for our operations.
Plan design and implement data connectivity for LAN, WAN, and Cloud systems.
Maintain system hardware and software across the entire organization.
Maintain data infrastructure across the organization.
Plan, recommend, and assist in the design of infrastructure systems, including ERP, Cloud, on‑premises, telecommunications, security, vendor relations, BCP/DR, and all other IT facets.
Troubleshoot and resolve all IT data/cloud/telecommunication/etc. related problems.
Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary.
WHAT You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and training in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or related field.
5+ years’ experience supporting a Windows network in a multi‑branch environment.
Experience/working knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures, Cloud infrastructures, Virtual Server infrastructures, telecommunications, and data communications, Active Directory, PowerShell, Windows OS/CLI, Remote services/monitoring, Backup maintenance, Endpoint hardware/software, wireless infrastructures, vendor management. Heavy security emphasis.
Collect/review network utilization reports, debug network problems, develop, test, and help maintain BCP/DR plans.
Visit branches/sites for IT evaluations.
Self‑starter/team player: coordinate, plan, design, and maintain data networks and services, assist help desk ticketing system by providing technical support to users and departments as required.

Ability and willingness to work beyond normal work hours, as needed.
Up to 25% travel depending on operational activities.
