Duration: 12-Month Contract
Rate: $70-$75/hr. on W2
Overview We are looking for a skilled Front-End React Developer with strong Python and data engineering experience to join a Global Trading technology team within a leading energy organization. The role focuses on building scalable, high-performance applications that support trading and analytics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using React.js
Build backend services and ETL workflows using Python (Pandas)
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Collaborate with traders, analysts, and product teams to deliver technical solutions
Support CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git
Work with cloud platforms, primarily Azure (AWS/GCP exposure a plus)
Ensure application performance, scalability, and code quality
Required Skills
Strong experience in React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Strong Python development with ETL/data processing experience
Experience with Node.js or similar backend frameworks
Solid understanding of SQL and databases
Experience with Azure cloud and CI/CD pipelines
Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with Databricks and Snowflake
Data pipeline development and data modeling experience
Knowledge of performance tuning and secure web application design
Exposure to commodity trading or energy domain
