QA Laboratory Technician To strengthen our Research and Innovation team, we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Security Inks team. This position supports laboratory operations, quality control testing, product development, and manufacturing support for specialized security inks used in banknotes, government documents, brand protection, tax stamps, and other high-security applications.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Laboratory testing, data analysis, and ensure adherence to established standards, while supporting reliable lab operations.
Review, analyze, and interpret test data to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
Prepare laboratory samples, drawdowns, and test panels for customer evaluations and internal studies.
Collaborate with R&D and production teams to support process validation and troubleshooting.
Accurately record test results and maintain laboratory documentation in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
Assist in investigations of non-conforming materials and support root cause analysis activities.
Support research and development projects through sample preparation, testing, and data collection.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality requirements, laboratory procedures, and safety regulations.
Prepare and organize retain samples and maintain sample inventory.
Promote and adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies.
Support internal and external audits.
Qualifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
Associates degree or higher in Chemistry or a related scientific field is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience in inks, coatings or related industries: Relevant laboratory experience may be substituted for formal education.
Color matching experience is preferred.
Experience with LIMS and data analysis tools.
Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and testing methods.
Strong attention to details.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
