Job Description
The Mechanical Systems Installation Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development and integration of mechanical systems within aerospace platforms. This role focuses on producing detailed installation designs that ensure mechanical systems are effectively and safely incorporated into aircraft structures, meeting stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate works closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate conceptual designs into practical, manufacturable solutions while maintaining compliance with quality and safety protocols.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, review and produce detailed mechanical installation designs for aerospace systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with electrical, structural and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components within the overall aircraft architecture. Apply engineering principles and design standards to ensure mechanical installations meet performance, safety and reliability criteria.
