Description Inlighten Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Cloud Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Silicon Valley. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys building, securing, automating, and scaling modern cloud-first IT infrastructure from the ground up.
As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and supporting the company’s cloud infrastructure, SaaS ecosystem, endpoint management platforms, identity systems, and cybersecurity operations. This individual will serve as a senior escalation point for the Help Desk team while partnering closely with systems administration, business application and program management team to deliver a secure, reliable, and scalable technology environment.
This position is instrumental in helping safeguard business operations, maximize technology investments, and support the company’s long‑term growth initiatives. You’ll work closely with leadership, engineering, operations, and global employees to establish scalable IT processes, improve operational efficiency, and support next‑generation AR / AI smart glass technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day IT infrastructure operations within a cloud‑first environment
Administer and support core SaaS platforms and enterprise applications
Maintain and improve system reliability, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency
Deploy and manage monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions
Lead infrastructure change management processes and maintain accurate system documentation
Support lab infrastructure environments including NAS storage and networking systems
Administer Okta, FastPass, and automated identity provisioning systems
Implement and enforce IAM best practices, MFA policies, and zero‑trust security principles
Configure and maintain SSO integrations using SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM provisioning
Manage user lifecycle operations including onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and access reviews
Administer Microsoft 365, Office 365, Teams, Exchange Online, and limited Google Workspace environments
Support collaboration and productivity platforms including Slack, Zoom, and Box
Manage cloud backup and data protection platforms including Druva
Manage and maintain endpoint platforms including Microsoft Intune, JAMF, and LogMeIn Resolve
Support modern endpoint management for Windows and macOS environments
Automate endpoint provisioning, software deployment, compliance, and patch management
Ensure endpoint devices remain secure, compliant, and aligned with company standards
Administer and support security platforms including CrowdStrike, Cloudflare WARP, Mimecast, and KnowBe4
Implement security hardening standards related to encryption, endpoint protection, and access control
Support Meraki firewalls, switches, wireless access points, VLANs, and Cloud Radius environments
Troubleshoot networking, VPN, wireless, and connectivity issues
Serve as a senior escalation point for Help Desk issues requiring advanced troubleshooting
Collaborate closely with project management, systems administration, and business applications teams
Provide direct support to end users and executives as needed
Respond quickly to changing business needs while implementing long‑term scalable solutions
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles
Develop workflow automation solutions using PowerShell, or similar tools
Continuously identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and operational improvement
Requirements
8+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise IT operations
Strong experience supporting hybrid cloud and SaaS‑first environments
Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 / Office 365, Azure, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
Strong experience with identity and access management platforms including Okta, SSO, MFA, SCIM provisioning, and lifecycle management
Experience managing endpoint platforms such as Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Apple Business Manager, and LogMeIn Resolve
Strong understanding of modern endpoint management and zero‑trust security models
Experience supporting security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Cloudflare WARP, KnowBe4, or similar tools
Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networking, firewalls, routing, and switching
Experience supporting Cisco Meraki environments including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
Experience with cloud backup, disaster recovery, and storage platforms such as Druva, Box, or NAS environments
Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and similar platforms
Strong understanding of IT security frameworks, compliance standards, and governance practices including SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and IAM best practices
Experience managing patching, software deployment, compliance, and lifecycle management for Windows and macOS devices
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, endpoint, networking, and SaaS‑related issues
Experience serving as a senior escalation point and mentoring junior IT staff or Help Desk teams
Strong project management, organizational, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support executives and cross‑functional teams
Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment
Nice to have
Experience working in semiconductor, AR/AI, manufacturing, or high‑tech startup environments
Experience helping build or scale IT infrastructure from the ground up
Familiarity with Cisco Meraki CloudRadius or enterprise wireless authentication platforms
Experience supporting compliance initiatives such as SOC2, ISO 27001 and GDPR
Knowledge of Azure cloud services including Azure AD, Conditional Access, Intune integrations, and cloud networking
Experience managing Apple Business Manager and zero‑touch deployment workflows
Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning and testing
Experience supporting international offices and remote global teams
Experience leading office buildouts, network deployments, or infrastructure refresh projects
Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, Okta, JAMF, Cisco Meraki, Security+, Network+, or CISSP certifications
Strong passion for automation, operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement
