About

Position Responsibilities: Partner with scientists to understand data capture, analysis, and reporting needs, including digitizing paper-based processes. Develop data products and custom applications to enable downstream AI/ML use cases, automation, and data contextualization. Build data analysis and system integration pipelines. Support GMP compliance activities for custom data products/applications (where applicable). Onboard Pfizer scientists to data applications/platforms; organize workshops/training as needed. Collaborate with robotics/automation teams to define data needs. Curate and integrate datasets from domains external to PharmSci. Implement, test, and validate new methods for data analysis and visualization. Basic Qualifications: BS (Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Statistics/Computer Science or related) + 4+ years in software development focused on embedded systems and/or data operations. OR Master’s + 2+ years in similar roles. Recent PhD graduate in a related technical discipline. Experience with data handling, integration, and analysis. Strong SQL and cloud data warehouse experience. Experience developing data products/integration solutions in research or industry. Ability to solve complex problems in a timely manner. Exceptional programming in a systems language (C/C#/Java/Go) and Python. Strong verbal/written/presentation communication. Preferred Qualifications: Software engineering/package development; cloud architectures; CI/CD and tooling. Scientific Python stack libraries. Github Copilot or AI-enabled coding tools. Prototype to production experience. Regulated industry & software validation practices. Work/Logistics: Hybrid; on-site ~2.5 days/week (plus as needed). Travel to other PharmSci sites Compensation/Benefits: Base salary range: $106,000–$176,600; bonus target 15% of base; 401(k) with matching; additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holiday/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision coverage.
