JOB DUTIES: represent clients in criminal defense cases, including pretrial motions, hearings, and trials conduct thorough legal research draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and memoranda. negotiate plea agreements and settlement terms on behalf of clients. advise clients on legal rights, options, and potential outcomes related to criminal charges. collaborate with witnesses and other legal professionals to build strong defense cases. maintain meticulous case files and documentation in accordance with legal standards. travel to surrounding counties attorney-client visits with incarcerated clients. EXPERIENCE: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar required.
