About
The successful candidate will design new and innovative Medical Devices and be involved with the management of projects from conception, testing and qualification through to commercialisation and then into production support. The role will cover all aspects of mechanical design including Concepting, Computer Aided Design (CAD) work, analysis, prototyping, empirical methods and testing / verification activities.
Due to the nature of this role, we are seeking an individual who can work well within a team, communicate effectively at all levels, and has a hands-on approach. International travel may be required on occasions.
Essential Experience/Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in new product development, mechanical design and team working Experience of project team contribution to ensure timely and cost effective completion of projects, through activities such as project facilitation, project documentation including design briefs, risk analysis and verification tasks Experience in cross-functional working between departments such as Technical, Marketing/Sales, Tool Room, Quality and Manufacturing Experience of Siemens NX or similar CAD software and creating 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings Adegree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatroni...
