Location: Fremont, CA Type: Long Term Roles and Responsivities: Architectural (Design of TR spaces based on building size/IT requirements) Mechanical (HVAC size based on IT equipment specs) Electrical (UPS sizing, pathway design based on IT requirements) Cabling SOW (backbone, horizontal cabling - fiber/copper/specialty) Site Assessments (Schematic Design and estimation tool) IT Design (Design Development/Construction Documents for follow-on engineering) Cabling SOWs (CD/Add Move Change for IT and Regulatory Device connectivity) Experience with one or more engineering software packages; Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Solidworks Must have Experience Requirements: 10+ years of experience in low-voltage cabling and infrastructure design Direct experience Strong experience with structured cabling (i.e. Category 5, Category 6a and Fiber Optic Structured Cable Distribution Systems) Experience designing data/telecom rooms and infrastructure layouts Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar design tools Ability to work both onsite and in the field as needed Strong communication and documentation skills
