About
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage WAN solutions including MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN, and other connectivity technologies.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot WAN-related issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
Implement network security best practices to protect WAN infrastructure.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, topology, and procedures.
Work with vendors and service providers to resolve network issues and coordinate maintenance activities.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and network capacity planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on WAN technologies.
Strong knowledge of WAN protocols and technologies such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, and SD-WAN.
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment.
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
