Interim Controller Oil Field Services Location: Hybrid role requires periodic on-site presence in Midland, TX (approximately 2550% travel) Duration: Interim / Contract (Full-time hours) Industry: Oil Field Services Client: Riveron Rate: up to $100/hr W2 3+ months Overview: Our client, a leading player in the Oil Field Services sector, is seeking an Interim Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance functions. This role will ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial management during a transition period, with partial onsite presence in Midland, TX. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed. Supervise accounting staff and maintain strong internal controls. Partner with leadership on financial planning and strategic decisions. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Controller or Senior Accounting Leader, ideally within the Oil Field Services or Energy industry. Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct is critical. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate accounting principles. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel periodically to the Midland, TX office.
