Summary First point of contact to our customers for lightning protection and grounding systems. Work together with the outside sales department by developing sales strategies for reaching sales goals and increasing customer base.
Job Responsibilities
Performs all duties and responsibilities according to the Mission and Core Values of the Company
Support outside sales team through complete coordination of incoming/outgoing estimates, sales follow up communication and direct communication from customers
Serve as customers' primary point of contact through out estimate/proposes process.
Evaluate the estimates and bid inquiries to identify clear scope of work from specifications, plans, Google images, archived files, etc. for preparation of good quality, competitive proposal.
Investigate the estimates for maximizing sales opportunity prior to sending estimates to customers by tracking bidding contractors, asking pertinent project questions and/or seeking clarification, etc. If required, submit bid packages per bid document instructions.
Monitor estimate list multiple times a day to ensure deadlines and instructions are handled to meet customers needs.
Build customer relations by identifying opportunities to provide better service, problem solve, and/or exceed customer expectations.
When identified, prepare and submit sales packages to our customers to provide them with lightning protection and company knowledge.
Set up new customers and update existing customers information.
Download plans for projects as needed through plan rooms, websites, ftp sites, etc. and file electronically
Review plan rooms for specific forecasting
Respond professionally to customer phone calls and emails
Job Requirements
Service oriented and team player
Attention to detail
Possess excellent communication skills (oral & written)
Ability to manage a fast-paced position with large quantities of administrative tasks
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel), Internet software
One to two years of sales experience preferred
Pass a criminal background and drug screen
