Territory: Includes but not limited to Glendale, CA The GSK U.S. Respiratory & Anti-Infectives Sales Professional is responsible for engaging physicians and allied health professionals across independent practices, physician groups, and hospital systems to drive appropriate prescribing of GSK products. This includes influencing prescribing decisions versus competitive therapies for relevant disease states through compliant, face‑to‑face interactions, in alignment with approved product indications and prescribing information. Compensation and Benefits The U.S. annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $99,000 to $165,000. The U.S. salary ranges are based on work location within the U.S. market, the candidate's skills, experience, education level, and market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in a share‑based long‑term incentive program dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave. Key Responsibilities Drive territory sales and market share growth across promoted COPD, asthma, and anti‑infective products through targeted, compliant, evidence‑based customer engagement. Own territory business planning; analyze sales data and execute actions to meet goals. Develop dynamic call plans and collaborate with local territory colleagues to maximize reach and frequency. Build strong partnerships with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical (MSLs), and other internal stakeholders to align strategy and resources. Plan and deliver in‑services, educational programs, and sample distribution in accordance with FDA regulations and company policy. Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time (e.g., sample accountability, call reporting, eLearning, and expense reporting). Comply with GSK policies, ethical standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Basic Qualifications BA/BS from an accredited institution. Valid driver's license; driving is an essential function of this role. Willingness to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight and weekend travel, based on business needs. Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or business‑to‑business sales experience (Grade8) or minimum of 5 years of experience (Grade7) based on experience level. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual preferred based on location. Account management experience within local IDNs/large hospital systems. Experience in respiratory/allergy or other healthcare sales. Familiarity with managed care, formularies, retail pharmacy operations, prior authorization processes. Strong presentation, influencing and business planning skills.
