About
What You’ll Do
Diagnose complex network issues using packet analysis, flow data, and monitoring tools; perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to maintain SLA compliance and high availability
Develop scripts and workflows using Python, Golang, and Salt to automate provisioning, configuration changes, and compliance auditing across network infrastructure
Design scalable network solutions for data center and cloud connectivity using BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VxLAN, and Segment Routing protocols
Analyze traffic patterns, forecast growth, recommend hardware/bandwidth upgrades, and implement QoS policies to optimize throughput and latency
Provide technical guidance to team members, conduct design reviews, and create comprehensive network documentation including topology diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, and runbooks
Research emerging networking solutions, conduct proof-of-concept deployments, and coordinate with vendors on design validation
Plan maintenance windows and lead cross-functional communication during upgrades, migrations, and cutovers
Serve as senior escalation point for mission-critical network issues and coordinate post‑incident reviews
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Go or Python
Expertise with Linux
Hands‑on experience with Juniper hardware (MX, QFX, EX, SRX) and Junos operating system
Experience working on, building, and troubleshooting large‑scale datacenter networks
Experience working on, building, and troubleshooting global backbone networks
Knowledge of layer‑2 and layer‑3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRRP, IS‑IS, LACP, MC‑LAG)
Experience with MPLS
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD, containers, virtualization, web servers, and databases
Hands‑on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Experience with automation frameworks, particularly Salt
Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
Experience working with Nokia, Arista, and Ciena hardware

$154,000–$193,000 base salary. Eligible for bonus based on company and individual performance. Equity compensation including equity grants upon hire and Employee Stock Purchase Program participation.
