About

Looking for an opportunity to lead high-performing teams, strengthen customer relationships, and drive growth in a competitive service environment? Join our client - a global leader in vertical transportation and commercial service solutions - and take ownership of a sales team across an established market in Seattle.
As the Sales Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic sales team focused on expanding service business, strengthening long-term customer partnerships, and driving profitable performance across the branch.
We welcome candidates with experience in elevator, commercial service, facilities, industrial, route-based, or other recurring-revenue service environments, such as HVAC, equipment rental, waste management, fleet services, and fire protection.
What You’ll Do:
Lead for Results: Set performance targets and lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals. Conduct quarterly reviews and foster a culture of accountability and growth.
Drive Strategic Growth: Implement sales initiatives aligned with corporate goals to increase revenue, profitability, and market share across the service business line.
Own Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, regular site visits, and a focus on long-term partnerships.
Oversee Sales Operations: Monitor branch sales activities through CRM, guide the bidding process, and ensure timely and compliant submission of proposals, renewals, and contracts.
Ensure Quality & Profitability: Collaborate on bidding strategies that ensure margin targets are met. Analyze branch performance metrics including P&L, backlog, pipeline, and overall service portfolio to stay on track.
Drive Business Development: Develop consistent, compelling sales messaging and tools to support your team in winning new business. Lead efforts to continuously improve proposal quality and sales presentations.
Be a Market Expert: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive strategies, customer retention trends, and client needs.
Promote Safety & Satisfaction: Support a culture of safety across the branch and ensure customer satisfaction initiatives are implemented across departments.
What You Bring to the Team:
Proven success in B2B sales within competitive service, commercial, industrial, or recurring-revenue environments.
7+ years of sales experience preferred, ideally within elevator, commercial service, facilities, industrial, or other service-based environments.
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing a sales team.
Experience managing proposal development, contract negotiation, and CRM systems.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial reports and drive decision-making.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
