About

Job Description Job Summary: Are you the type of person who dreams in IP addresses and has a favorite subnet mask? Then you’re in the right place. We need a Network Engineer who can keep our digital highways running smoothly and, more importantly, can keep us laughing when things get too serious. If you can troubleshoot a BGP issue while cracking a joke about it, we need to talk.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure using enterprise class technologies
Keep an eagle eye on network performance, making sure it’s always in beast mode.
Troubleshoot network issues faster than you can say "Did you try turning it off and on again?"
Implement network security measures that make hackers cry.
Collaborate with awesome teams to ensure new projects roll out as smooth as a fresh cat5 cable.
Maintain network documentation—yes, we know it’s not glamorous, but you can doodle in the margins.
Conduct regular network assessments, because we’re always trying to be better. (And by "we," we mean you.)
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, or at least pretend to during meetings.
Mentor junior engineers—don’t worry, you’ll be their hero.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or the School of Hard Knocks (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in network engineering, ideally with Cisco and Juniper as your sidekicks.
Proficiency in wrangling Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls like a pro.
Fluent in network protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs. (If these sound like alphabet soup, we’re in trouble.)
A master of network security practices—VPNs, IDS/IPS, and all that jazz.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools, because how else will you know when something’s on fire?
Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) and/or Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS) are a big plus—think of them as your network superhero badges.
Problem‑solving skills that make Sherlock Holmes look like an amateur.
Strong communication skills—because sometimes you’ll need to explain what a router does to non-techies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN—because we live in the future now.
Scripting and automation know‑how
Experience in a multi‑vendor environment, because variety is the spice of life.
Additional Qualifications
Demonstrated experience as a Network Engineer in an enterprise environment
Experience working in a Datacenter
Industry Certifications
Knowledge of enterprise networking protocols
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex network concepts to non-technical team members
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging network technologies.
