Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Washington. This role involves maintaining and optimizing company databases, ensuring data security and availability. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain database software. Create and manage database backups, disaster recovery plans, and testing procedures. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Develop and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information. Collaborate with other teams to ensure database integrations are functioning properly. Stay updated on industry trends and new developments in database technology. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS). Knowledge of SQL programming language. Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Salary $1100 per month
