About

Test Technician (Mechanical) Location: US-NC-WILSON-4200, 4200 Airport Dr, BLDG 4200, Wilson, NC. U.S. citizenship is required. No security clearance is required. This is a U.S.-based role. Responsibilities Perform chamber programming, testing, and troubleshooting of current products and development programs. Conduct hardware and software tests for aerospace products supported by the Engineering Test group. Execute data capture, documentation, and implementation for DO‑160 – MIL‑STD‑810 environmental type testing. Provide technical input for new or modified data acquisition systems and test procedures. Execute tests per procedures or other requirements documents. Assist in developing plans, procedures, and reports. Hands‑on experience with basic electrical wiring, mechanical and hydraulic test systems, pressure systems, fixture fabrication, data acquisition, and instrumentation setup. Interfacing with customers, Systems Engineers, and Program Managers to address compliance issues. Order materials and equipment as needed to support planned tests. Ensure tests are properly set up and instrumented. Support Test engineers in similar activities. Qualifications – Required High school diploma or AA/AS degree (or other two‑year post‑high‑school training). Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. General knowledge of hand tools and ability to use them. Qualifications – Preferred Willingness to learn current test methods involving pressure systems, test fixture fabrication, data acquisition, and instrumentation setup. Good communication skills with managers or test engineers, effective at expressing status, issues/concerns, and successes. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
