About
Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) invites qualified professionals to join our team as a Systems Administrator. This role supports large‑scale government operations by leveraging cutting‑edge technology and contributes to national security and economic interests.
Responsibilities
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, including conducting detailed system capacity analysis and planning.
Design, deploy, and administer virtualized environments, primarily using VMware technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging expertise in high‑level problem‑solving.
Install, configure, and manage Windows Server operating systems, adhering to organizational requirements and industry best practices.
Apply system and operating system patches to maintain security and ensure optimal performance.
Ensure the continuous functionality and 24/7 monitoring of assigned networks to meet operational demands.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software to ensure system reliability.
Identify and implement innovative technological solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Develop, document, and maintain technology policies, standards, and procedures to support operational consistency and compliance.
Perform administrative and operational tasks aligned with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
DOD IAT Level II Certification is required.
DOD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems, demonstrating versatility in managing diverse environments.
Advanced proficiency in Windows Server, infrastructure management, PowerShell scripting, and Linux administration.
Hands‑on experience with SCCM, OS management, DNS, SAN, group policy, DHCP, and Microsoft Windows technologies.
Expertise in managing and optimizing Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, with a focus on ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless user experience.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
