Overview Weareseekinga NetworkAdministrator withstronghands-onexperiencein networkadministration combinedwith desktopsupport/end-usersupport .Thisrolewillberesponsibleformaintainingandimprovingtheorganization’snetworkandcoreinfrastructure,whilealsoprovidinghigh-qualitytechnicalsupporttointernalusers.Theidealcandidateiscomfortabletroubleshootingacrossthestack—fromWAN/VPNandcloudnetworking(including CatoCloud )tovirtualization( VMware )andendpointissues.
Responsibilities Network&Infrastructure
Administer,monitor,andtroubleshootLAN/WAN,routing,switching,VPN,DNS/DHCP,andWi-Fienvironments.
Supportandmanage CatoCloud (e.g.,connectivity,policies,securitycontrols,troubleshooting,user/siteonboarding).
Maintainnetworksecuritybestpractices(patching,accesscontrol,segmentation,andincidentresponsesupport).
Partnerwithinternalteamsandvendors/ISPstoresolveconnectivityandperformanceissues.
Documentnetworktopology,configurations,standards,andrunbooks.
Support VMware environments(e.g.,ESXi/vCenteroperations,VMprovisioning,performancemonitoring,backupscoordination).
Assistwithgeneralinfrastructuretasks(servers,storage,backups,endpointmanagementasapplicable).
Participateinmaintenancewindows,upgrades,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
Desktop/End-UserSupport
ProvideTier2/3desktopsupportforWindows/macOSendpointsandcommonproductivitytools.
Troubleshoothardware/softwareissues,useraccess,printers,andconferencing/meeting-roomtechasneeded.
Manageonboarding/offboardingtechnicaltasks(accounts,devices,access,securitybaselines).
Maintainstrongcustomerservice,clearcommunication,andtimelyticketupdates.
Requirements
Solid experiencecombining networkadministration and desktop/end-usersupport .
Hands-onexperiencewith VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter) and CatoCloud
Experienceworkingwithticketingsystems,documentation,andITIL-stylepractices.
Generalinfrastructure/networkingcertifications(preferred)
