About
Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and maintain Juniper EX/QFX and MX/SRX platforms across data center, campus, and branch environments.
Design, implement, and operate Versa SD-WAN including Director and Analytics platform management and policy development.
Lead Juniper Mist wireless deployments, RF planning, SSID design, and proactive issue resolution using Mist AI and Marvis.
Build and maintain network observability in New Relic including dashboards, NRQL queries, alerting, and telemetry ingestion.
Develop automation and network-as-code using Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Design and operate cloud networking and hybrid connectivity across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP, including Direct Connect and ExpressRoute integrations.
Provide technical leadership, conduct design and code reviews, author runbooks and post-incident reviews, and participate in change advisory board reviews.
Requirements
7+ years of progressive hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
Deep expertise with Juniper routing and switching platforms (EX, QFX, MX, SRX) and Junos OS.
Demonstrated production experience with Versa SD-WAN and Juniper Mist wireless platforms.
Proven ability to build network observability in New Relic and instrument devices for SNMP, syslog, and flow telemetry.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python preferred) and experience with Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS, IPSEC VPNs, and Wi‑Fi standards plus advanced troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work independently, and experience mentoring junior engineers.
Preferred: Juniper or Versa certifications and cloud networking certifications or equivalent hands‑on experience.
