About

Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience. No staffing agency candidates will be considered. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. Responsibilities Ensure stability and efficiency of hybrid IT environment across Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, VMware vSphere, Nutanix HCI, and hybrid Entra ID / on‑prem Active Directory. Manage core infrastructure, support identity and access services, maintain virtualization platforms, and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity. Configure, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server environments, including patching, performance tuning, and system hardening. Administer and support Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune. Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure: ESXi hosts, virtual machines, resource pools, templates, and cluster health. Support and maintain HCI platforms, ensuring stable compute, storage, and virtualization performance across hybrid workloads. Administer hybrid identity environments: Entra ID (Azure AD) and on‑prem Active Directory, user lifecycle, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, authentication services. Implement and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions. Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; respond to operational incidents. Develop and maintain automation and scripting (primarily PowerShell) to streamline tasks. Document system configurations, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support enterprise applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver reliable IT services to distributed offices and remote users. Apply security best practices across servers, cloud services, and virtualized environments. Requirements 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services. Experience managing Microsoft 365 platforms, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related cloud services. Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere; familiarity with Nutanix HCI platforms. Strong understanding of hybrid identity, including Entra ID (Azure AD), on‑prem Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and DHCP. Demonstrated ability to support backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions in a hybrid environment. Knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting languages. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a distributed team. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and operational responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Industry certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, or Nutanix NCP are a plus. Equal Opportunity Employer.
