Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards (GMPs, HACCP, etc.).
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
Identify and report quality deviations, non‑conformances, or potential risk.
Partner with production teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Verify product labeling, packaging, and specifications meet regulatory requirements.
Support internal audits and external inspections as needed.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and compliance.
Qualification
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1–3+ years of quality assurance or quality control experience, preferably in food manufacturing, agriculture, or CP.
Strong understanding of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, FDA/USDA guidelines).
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, production environment.
Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry.
Preferred Experience
Experience in fresh produce, agriculture, or perishable goods.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Prior experience with quality audits or regulatory compliance.
