How You Will Make An Impact:
Administer, maintain, and support enterprise database environments across production and non-production systems
Ensure high availability, performance optimization, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery readiness
Monitor system health and proactively address performance bottlenecks
Implement database security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Partner with application development teams to optimize queries, indexing strategies, and database performance
Lead root cause analysis and resolution of database-related production incidents
Support database upgrades, patching, migrations, and capacity planning
Contribute to automation initiatives and infrastructure-as-code best practices
Are you a proven database administration professional ready to make an impact?
5+ years of hands-on database administration experience in enterprise environments
Strong experience with one or more of the following: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution plans
Experience with backup/recovery strategies, replication, clustering, and high-availability configurations
Strong understanding of database security, access controls, and compliance requirements
Experience supporting production environments with strict uptime requirements
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
Experience with monitoring tools and database performance diagnostics
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in high-pressure environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred:
Experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries
Exposure to capital markets or high-volume transactional systems
Cloud database experience (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, managed MongoDB, etc.)
Scripting or automation experience (Shell, Python, PowerShell)
Experience supporting database migrations or modernization initiatives
