SUMMARY
The ICF Area Supervisor oversees the day-to-day activities, budgets, and schedules for ICF homes, and manages hires, and trains, home staff. This role is responsible for ensuring individuals receiving services are properly managed and cared for, including implementing programs and services, coordinating activities and appointments, maintaining records for individuals served, and complying with regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
- Manages the day to day activities, budgets, and schedules for homes and designated individuals.
- Manages, hires, trains, and schedules staff.
- Provides leadership including direct supervision of staff; implements Best employee practices; ensures safety and ensures employees receive appropriate orientation and training.
- Maintains census and maximizes utilization and occupancy percentages within programs.
- Maintains and fosters relations with individuals receiving services, families and guardians, and implements individual satisfaction enhancement plans as appropriate.
- Maintains and fosters relations with case managers and referral agents and lobbies on behalf of individuals supported and Network as appropriate.
- Implements program plans for individuals receiving services and submits incident reports as appropriate.
- Ensures timely incident reporting and implements individual corrective action
- Develops, implements, revises, and monitors data collection and Individual Program Plans for individual training programs. Completes monthly data summaries and make revisions as needed
- Implements safety plans and coordinates scheduling for supported individuals.Ensures individuals are receiving appropriate health and medication management.Assists in the management of youth funds.
- Ensures homes are clean, neat, and safe; and works with and/or contacts maintenance as appropriate.
- Completes purchasing of program supplies and submits billing compliance documentation.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- Performs other related duties and activities as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:
Education and Experience:
- One to two years’ experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- CPR and first aid certification
- Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services - unencumbered license
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Leadership, problem solving, professionalism, self-management
Other Requirements:
- Travel between sites, emergency on call availability
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 75lbs
