Assistant Manager

Mama's Pizza is a locally admired brand known for quality ingredients, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our La Vista location is a bustling hub, and we're looking for a dedicated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring a smooth service, high food quality, and a well-trained staff. You will work closely with the team to ensure operational excellence, including leading and mentoring staff, managing day-to-day tasks, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities include supporting daily restaurant operations, supervising and leading shifts, assisting in hiring, training, and developing team members, ensuring high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety, monitoring and managing staffing schedules, assisting with inventory management, helping resolve customer concerns and operational challenges, collaborating with the Area General Manager to drive revenue and improve team performance, assisting in monitoring sales, labor, and food costs to maintain profitability, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.

We're seeking an organized, dependable, and motivated individual who can handle multiple tasks at once and maintain a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in a quick-service or fast-casual setting, a strong ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team, a hands-on, lead-by-example approach to managing staff, a keen eye for operational efficiency and customer service excellence, ability to manage high-volume service, especially during peak times, willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and knowledge of inventory management, scheduling, and labor control.

Work schedule includes weekend availability, 10 hour shift, and 8 hour shift. Supplemental pay includes bonus pay and other. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, profit sharing, and other.
