About

As the lead GIS Utility Network Architect, you will lead complex utility modernization initiatives supporting one of the nation's critical infrastructure providers. Your expertise in ArcGIS Utility Network architecture will directly shape enterprise-scale electric, water, and sewer system transformations. This is an opportunity to apply your technical leadership to high-impact projects involving utility data migration, enterprise integrations, cybersecurity alignment, and regulatory compliance while working alongside specialized teams delivering innovative GIS solutions.
We are proactively building a talent pipeline for an upcoming project tied to an active RFP. This position is expected to begin in late Summer 2026, subject to contract award and final client approval.
*WORKSITE: *Remote with occasional onsite work in Jacksonville, FL as required by project needs
*WORK SCHEDULE: *Monday - Friday, aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST); domestic travel required as needed
*PAY RATE: *$90.00

*WHAT YOU'LL DO:*
* Lead architecture strategy for ArcGIS Utility Network modernization initiatives across electric, water, and sewer utilities.
* Design, implement, and oversee ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Branch Versioning, and Utility Network migration solutions.
* Guide utility data model transformation and integration across enterprise systems.
* Ensure technical compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity requirements, and utility regulatory frameworks.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and client leadership to drive delivery success.
* Provide architectural oversight on projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
*WHAT YOU'LL BRING:*
* Completion of at least two (2) Electric and Water or Sewer Utility Network consulting projects of similar size and scope within the last three (3) years ending June 1, 2026.
* Advanced expertise in Esri ArcGIS Utility Network (UN), ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Branch Versioning, and UN Migration Tools.
* Strong experience with Electric Utility Data Models and Water/Sewer Utility Data Models.
* Proven enterprise integration experience supporting utility modernization projects.
* Deep understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and regulatory standards impacting utility systems.
* Professional registrations, certifications, or advanced education in GIS, Engineering, or related disciplines preferred.
* Ability to travel within the U.S. and successfully pass required client background checks.
