About
Working on Ryder's modern data stack (Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, Copilot), the Data Analyst II designs persona‑based dashboards and analytics solutions that solve once for many , rather than one‑off reports. Over time, the analyst will become a domain expert in automotive and industrial supply‑chain operations.
AI is core to how this team works.
The Data Analyst II is expected to leverage AI daily to accelerate discovery, diagnose root causes, synthesize customer signals, and deliver insights faster and at scale. Success means owning outcomes end‑to‑end, making recommendations (not just executing tasks), and tying every initiative to a real business decision and a measurable result.
Essential Functions
Develop dashboards by understanding business needs, interpreting the integrated data, and translating this into usable visualizations to drive business decisions.
Engage the business, evaluating their needs and ad‑hoc requests to prioritize product efforts and create innovative solutions.
Understand the Ryder business, the complexity of the supply chain world, and the role data has within this ecosystem.
Enhance data maturity and integration to standardize core value‑add functionality enabling a multiplier effect.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
Experience developing BI solutions with tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
Experience using AI tools, ETL tools (Alteryx or SSIS), data manipulation (SQL), and object‑oriented development stacks (.NET preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
Support product innovation, working closely with technology throughout build, test, and release using agile methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or equivalent.
Master's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA or equivalent.
Two (2) years or more Applied Project Experience: Demonstrating digital transformation, data management in an educational/project or intern environment.
Two (2) years or more 2‑4 years' experience creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis across the business. Experience in a cloud environment is a plus.
Compensation Information The compensation offered may be influenced by factors including relevant experience, education, work location, market data, and internal equity. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan. Salary ranges are:
Pay Type: Salaried
Minimum Pay Range: 80,000
Maximum Pay Range: 105,000
