Project Manager, Portfolio Program Management

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Manager, Portfolio Program Management for a contract assignment with one of our premier BioTech clients in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager, Portfolio Program Management (PPM) is responsible for the planning and execution of product development projects that add companion diagnostic (CDx) claims to existing products. The Project Manager works closely with program managers and other team members to develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables and identify the needed resources for projects and programs. The position is highly cross-functional and visible across the firm.

  • Builds and grows partnership to support business growth
  • Develops, monitors, and controls project schedules, scope, and resources
  • Leads internal and external project team meetings, ensuring there are actionable and documented meeting outputs that are followed up to ensure project progress is maintained while issues and risks are identified
  • Manages project associated risks including prioritization, escalation, and resolution of the identified risks
  • Establishes strong, cross-functional, and cross-business relationships that encourage horizontal thinking and collaboration within the firm as well as with external partners
  • Develops and provides project updates as required
  • Presents project updates at quarterly review meetings to leadership
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a program or project management role
  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • Certified Scrum Master

  • Working knowledge of FDA, ISO, CLIA and CAP regulations
