You will lead a team of engineers and others in support of new product development as well as sustaining operations and ensuring the contract manufacturer readiness for high volume production. You will bring your knack and thirst to drive all technical operational issues related to optical Sensing modules and components & related manufacturing processes to ensure effective closure of all issues to enable operational success of the entire new product introduction cycle and into the mass production phase.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering and manufacturing operations with 3 to 5 years of people management experience
  • Relevant experience leading teams while introducing products into manufacturing and high volume production
  • Hands-on in the factory processes, with frequent time spent on the factory floor
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to concisely understand and communicate issues, and lead the team to a solution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required, including frequent presentations to executive leadership presenting top issues, solutions, recommendations + path to closure
  • Ability to travel internationally 25%-35%
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $196,200 and $295,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
