About

Job Overview IT Associate Desktop Support Analyst – Altera Digital Health Managed Services located at Springhill Medical Center, Mobile, AL. This full‑time, on‑site role is on call rotation, serving as the primary point of contact for end‑users experiencing technical issues to minimize disruptions and maintain productivity. Responsibilities Provide first‑tier technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, system access, and network connectivity issues. Collect detailed information from end users, perform initial diagnostics, and resolve issues independently or, when necessary, escalated to senior IT staff. Document all actions and update the ticketing system with status and resolution. Analyze incident trends to identify and address common problems. Enforce best practices and coordinate with other IT teams for efficient resolution of critical problems. Maintain and update a comprehensive knowledge base and help desk documentation. Assist in system updates, device deployments, and process improvements. Qualifications High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. At least 2–4 years of experience in a related field. Strong technical knowledge of IT systems and networks. Experience with Windows PCs, Mac, and iOS products preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills. Team player with customer‑service orientation. ITIL or other relevant certifications preferred. Pre‑employment Requirements Drug‑free facility; passing a pre‑employment drug screening and background check is required. Compensation Hourly pay: $22.83.
