About

Position Overview As a member of the Human Resources team, the HR Generalist-Data Analyst assists the department in providing exceptional customer service to employees, ensuring rigorous regulatory compliance, and maintaining exceptionally accurate data. This position conducts HR and timekeeping audits, ensuring pre‑payroll processing compliance to pay practices, validating time coding accuracy with operational units, payroll, and employees, and performing ongoing and scheduled audits of the HRIS and pay data. Prior payroll processing, HR data analysis, and HRIS (Workday, etc.) experience is a must. Essential Duties Reviews weekly time coding data for compliance with established pay practices, functional guidelines, and state wage and hour regulations, flagging time coding for review and resolution. Completes routine audits of HRIS data to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Conducts validation testing of new timekeeping logics and time off plans in Workday prior to implementation. Audits time off accruals and balances for compliance with policy. Coordinates timekeeping eligibility changes as required. Validates proper coding of LOA-related hours. Reviews employee timesheet and pay stub concerns, coordinating with Payroll and escalating as required. Validates holiday pay and holiday‑worked time coding and calculations as needed. Acts as backup for Employee Loan, Premium Helmet programs. Acts as backup for Employee Offboarding and collection documentation processes. Conducts audits of business transactions and other pre‑payroll data to ensure smooth payroll processing. Audits onboarding documentation for completeness. Assists employees and managers with questions. Supports and promotes Destination Zero initiatives. Education and Experience High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years in professional Human Resources and/or payroll processing. Prior Workday experience preferred. Healthcare or Aviation industry experience preferred. HR Certification preferred. Special Skills Customer service focus. Effective communication with employees and leaders at all levels. Problem solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organization. Excellent written and verbal communication. Team collaboration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word). Schedule / Location Location: Phoenix, AZ. Schedule: 5 & 2.
