The candidate will work as part of a collaborative engineering team providing infrastructure automation, cloud operations, DevOps support, and cloud application deployment services. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands–on experience with cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and Federal cloud security requirements while working under the guidance of senior engineers and architects. This position will be on‑site and the hours are 8 am to 5 pm EST. Responsibilities Support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure hosted within FAA‑approved cloud environments Assist with the implementation and management of cloud resources across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure platforms Develop, maintain, and execute Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or Ansible Participate in the automation of cloud provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment processes Assist with the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to support software delivery and operational efficiency Support Linux and Microsoft Windows cloud‑based systems and infrastructure components Monitor cloud environments and assist in troubleshooting infrastructure, deployment, and application issues Collaborate with developers, engineers, security teams, and system administrators to support cloud modernization initiatives Assist in evaluating new cloud technologies, tools, and best practices to improve system performance and operational efficiency Participate in system testing, deployment validation, and production implementation activities Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, operational guides, and system configurations Support compliance with Federal security requirements, cloud governance standards, and organizational policies Participate in Agile development and DevOps processes including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related technical field Minimum two (2) years of professional experience supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps, systems administration, software engineering, or related technical disciplines Experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and/or Ansible Hands‑on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible Experience supporting Linux and/or Microsoft Windows environments Understanding of cloud architecture concepts, deployment methodologies, and DevOps practices Knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud services Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation Basic scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages Understanding of source control systems such as Git Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, and security fundamentals Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker Basic understanding of Kubernetes or managed container services is desirable Ability to troubleshoot system, infrastructure, and deployment issues Must be able to pass a government background check Must live in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Skills and Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Benefits Grant Leading Technology provides a competitive compensation package with benefits that are immediately available.
