Palo Alto Networks has an immediate opportunity for a Backend Engineer to support one of our top tech clients based in Santa Clara, CA. This is a great way to get your foot in the door with a globally recognized leader in cybersecurity. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for DevOps for the entire Services Innovation suite of products. You will be responsible for implementing DevOps best practices across an organization with various products that have different requirements. Skills: 4+ years of Python Development Experience Expertise in git-based Source Control Management (SCM) systems, such as GitHub, GitLab, bitbucket, etc. Expertise in managing cloud platforms, preferably GCP Experience in deployments via Kubernetes and Docker containers, strong knowledge of Helm charts Experience in CI/CD automation using GitLab Understanding the concept of Infrastructure as Code Experience in secrets management and secrets lifecycle via a secret manager (Hashicorp Vault) a plus Linux administration skills a strong plus Relevant DevOps and/or site-reliability experience in infrastructure automation
