Prepare materials, tools and equipment for practical DT lessons. Maintain workshops, machinery and specialist equipment to a high standard. Support teachers during practical lessons when required. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and risk assessments. Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering materials and supplies as needed. Maintain an organised and safe working environment. Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs of equipment. Support projects involving CAD/CAM, laser cutters, 3D printers and workshop machinery where applicable.The Successful Candidate Will Have
Previous experience working as a DT Technician, Workshop Technician or in a similar technical role. Knowledge of workshop practices, machinery and health and safety regulations. Experience with woodwork, metalwork, engineering or manufacturing environments. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A positive and flexible approach to supporting staff and students.We Offer
